There was a part of me who believed that we might not see a traditional update for the month of May android 15 for pixels, knowing that Google Android 16 is likely to be released within two weeks in Google I/O. This part was wrong, as Google did this day by launching the May 2025 pixel update.
The list of devices that receive the May Pixel Pixel 6, 6 Pro, Pixel 6A, Pixel 7, 7 Pro update, Pixel 7A, Pixel 8, 8 Pro, Pixel 8A, Pixel Fold and Pixel Pro. Pixel 9A is also a new update.
Google says this update may start today and should continue to do this in the next week. Timing often depends on your transportation company, whether it is in Verizon, AT & T or T-Mobile, or pre-payment, such as Google Fi.
