Instructions are directed to the population to stay away from North India, Canyon Drive in Palm Springs, California, after a health facility exploded before 11 am local time on Saturday, according to officials.
The explosion occurred in northern India, Canyon Drive, near East Taking.
The city said in a statement, “Palm Springs and their fires are currently at the scene of the accident and asking the residents to stay away from the area so that the emergency crews can work in the accident,” the city said in a statement.
California Governor Gavin New Roosom was briefed on the explosion.
“The state, through [California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services]”Coordinate with the local and federal authorities to support the response,” the news office said in a statement.
