A 28 -year -old man was arrested by claiming that he was trying to fire at the American embassy branch in Tel Aviv, Israel, earlier this month and threats against President Trump, Federal prosecutors Sunday said.
Joseph New Yamer, who carries us and the German citizen, was held at John F. Airport. Kennedy in New York City by FBI agents after being deported from Israel.
According to the prosecutors, Newmaire traveled to Israel in April. On May 19, he arrived at the American embassy in Tel Aviv with a backpack. Without provocation, Neumayer was claimed to spit at the embassy goalkeeper walking and was able to escape when the goalkeeper tried to detain him. He left his bag outside the embassy after the conflict.

Investigators found that before traveling to the embassy, it is claimed that Newmaeer was published on social media: “Join me while burning the embassy in Tel Aviv. Death to America, death to the Americans, and *** as the West.” The authorities said that Neumayer has also published threatening messages on social media targeting President Trump.

After his arrest in New York City, Newmaeer was accused of trying to destroy the American or explosive embassy. If convicted, he faces imprisonment for up to 20 years.
“This defendant is accused of planning a devastating attack targeting our embassy in Israel, and threatens death to the Americans and the life of President Trump,” Public Prosecutor Pamela Bondi in a statement. “The administration will not tolerate such violence and this defendant will be tried to the maximum extent of the law.”
The FBI director Cash Patel said in a statement that the alleged Newmaeer actions were “loved and violent” and “will not be tolerated at home or abroad.”
