Manila, the Philippines – Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duviti was sure of the mayor of his city by a landslide on Monday, without being subjected to his detention in the International Criminal Court on charges of murder as a crime against humanity.

With the calculation of 80 % of the votes in an unofficial toll, Dotte, who was brought to The Hague in March due to the bloody “war on drugs” that killed thousands of people, won the Davao mayor competition with more than more votes than his closest rival.

Victory during the summer regeneration elections at the country level is a testimony on the impact of the 80 -year -old in the southern city, because of his reputation as a strain of the crime that earned him the borrowed names “Ducherte Harry” and “The Punisher”.

The old Dutete account on Facebook was immersed with congratulatory messages from supporters, as some called for his return to serve his people.

“Congratulations, Tatay (Father) D! Let’s return him home,” read one of the comments.

Doterti can become the first former Asian state president to be tried in the International Criminal Court.

His sudden arrest by the Philippine police at the request of the International Criminal Court caused anger among his army, who called him kidnapping at the request of a foreign court.

He defended the anti -drug campaign, and his legal team says his detention is illegal. The International Criminal Court reserves that it has a jurisdiction to prosecute the alleged crimes committed before the Philippine Dotati was withdrawn from the founding treaty in 2019.

Despite the case of the International Criminal Court, including alleged killings of criminal suspects by a “death squad” in Davao while Dotteri was a mayor – which was denied – analysts said that his arrest had increased his support for him and his family, in Davao and abroad.

On Monday, the former president of the former president was scheduled to win one, one of the re -elected members of the Congress and the other wins in the competition to the deputy mayor of Davao and is likely to serve in the absence of his father.

The political flexibility of the family and domination in Davao can be proven as the famous daughter of Duver, Vice President Sarah Dutti, facing an isolation trial that can see her banned from life -long policy if they were convicted, killing any hope of the presidential tour.

She was asked earlier on Monday about her possible victory, she said that plans to take the constitutional oath will be developed.

She said, “The international criminal court, as soon as we obtained advertising papers, said,” We will discuss how it can be divided, “she said.
