Nintendo’s Switch has 2 small handful of new versions in the launch squad, but during the first few months that followed, it will be the main thing that you will be able to play on is your current library of Switch games. While Nintendo promised a reasonable backward compatibility, the company is still operating through the testing process of more than 15,000 third -party switch games with the new console.
With the passage of a week until launch, Nintendo has updated its compatibility support page with the results of nearly two months of additional tests. Of more than 15,000 “third -party replacement games, Nintendo says nearly two -thirds of which are” no problems “or have problems that will be solved quickly at launch or after. In the original version of this support page, Nintendo only conducted the basic compatibility test on nearly 20 percent of all third -party switch games.

All Nintendo games will run almost the first on Switch 2, with the only exceptions are Nintendo Labo Cardboard collections that were made with the physical dimensions of the original key in mind.
