The United States again Declare Today, it will take an additional 60 days to determine whether to change the proposed base from NYSE Arca to insert BitWise 10 Crypto Index, which features major encryption assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana and Cardano.
The decision, which was originally expected by June 1, was postponed until July 31. NYSE Arca first changed the proposed base in November 2024, and was published for the general comment in the federal registry last December.
SEC was delayed for the first time the decision regarding the ETF request on January 14, followed by the start of the procedures on March 3 to determine whether the proposal will be approved or rejected.
It was launched in November 2017, BitWise 10 Crypto Index Fund (BITW) provides investors a variety of 10 most valuable and more valuable assets.
It seeks to track the Great CAP CAP 10, which chooses these first ten assets of encryption assets based on criteria such as market value, minimum trade volume, concentration borders, and organizational compliance.
As of May 27, 2025, the $ 1.4 billion fund was holding ten main encryption assets, led by Bitcoin, by approximately 78 %, followed by ETAREUM and XRP. Other encryption assets include Solana, Cardano, SUI, Chainlink, Avalanche, Litecoin and Polkadot.
On Wednesday, SEC delayed its decisions on two other Crypto ETF suggestions, including Grayscale Sot Cardano Etf and Spot Avalanche Etf. Both supporters are part of Grayscale’s efforts to expand its production line beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The agency’s move to push decisions to Crypto ETF files is not surprising. This pattern of delay is compatible with the SEC standard review of innovative financial products such as Crypto ETFS.
Analysts expect approvals during the year, even if the decisions are delayed until mid -2025.
