President Donald Trump said that he would see pardon convicted men in a conspiracy to kidnap Michigan Grechen and pass, and to commit them to the legitimacy of the case.
“I will take a look at that.” Trump said, while talking to the journalists at the Oval Office. “I watched the trial. It seemed like a somewhat railway function.”
The president said he believed that the men convicted of the case, which occurred on the eve of the 2020 elections, were “drinking” and “stupid things”.
Fourteen men were charged in a kidnapping plan, and a democratic condemnation and nine were condemned. Group leader, Barry Croft Junior, got the longest sentence for more than 19 years.
The office did not respond immediately to the comment.
In 2020, he put some blame for the kidnapping plot on Trump’s speech.
