President Donald Trump in Janine Peru will be divided as a temporary lawyer for the United States, during a ceremony at the Oval Office on Wednesday afternoon – making it the latest Fox News host, appointed by Trump.
Earlier this month, Trump took advantage of the former judge and prosecutor who recently hosted “The Five News” “The Five” – for this position after controversy about his previous choice, Ed Martin.
Martin, who held the position of temporary public prosecutor in the capital, lost the Republican Party’s support for this position. Martin’s past, specifically his defense of rioters on January 6 and inflammatory rhetoric about the Capitol attack, was afflicted with his candidacy.

Peru, Trump’s first test, faced her first test as the largest federal public prosecutor in Washington last week when she talked about the response to the deadly shooting of two Israeli embassy employees.
During a press conference, Peru said that her office is investigating the issue as a crime and terrorist acts.
“Two young couples at the beginning of their life journey are about to engage in another country, they have removed their bodies in the cold night in a foreign city in a body bag. We will not tolerate this anymore,” Peru said during a press conference last Thursday. “It will not be tolerated with anti -Semitism, especially in the country’s capital.”

Peru coincides with the latest Fox News to join the Trump administration. Some of the most prominent Fox News appointed in Trump’s second administration, Defense Minister Beit Higseth, who hosted Fox & Friends Weekend, and Deputy Director of the FBI, who hosted a non -candidate with Dan Bongino “before leaving the network in 2023.
Peru has been a long ally of Trump, who returns to her time as a prominent prosecutor in New York. She was an early supporter of his 2016 campaign and publicly defended him during the “Access Hollywood” tape scandal.
One of Trump’s final works before leaving his post in 2021 was to issue amnesty at the last minute to the former Peru husband, a long donor.
With less than an hour ending the end of his term, Trump granted the final pardon to Albert Peru, who was convicted of more than two decades ago for 34 charges of conspiracy and tax evasion after it turned out that he had deduced more than a million dollars in the luxurious personal expenses in the tax deletion of his business.
