Cristiano Ronaldo’s time may be done at the Saudi Nasser Club.
The 40 -year -old Portuguese striker published a message on social media after hours of the last round of the Saudi Professional League late Monday, which sparked speculation about the future of one of the most prominent figures in sports.
“This chapter has ended,” Ronaldo told his 115 million followers on X, above his photo in the victory shirt. “The story? It is still written. It is grateful to everyone.”
The best player in the world joined five times a year in late 2022 and his contract will expire at the end of June.
On Saturday, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said that Ronaldo could play in the World Cup in New-Look, which starts on June 14 due to a unique transitional window created for the tournament.
“There are discussions with some clubs,” said ISHOWSPEED, which includes YouTube more than 39 million subscribers. “So if any club is watching and interested in employing Ronaldo for the club’s World Cup, which knows. It is still a few weeks, it will be fun.”
Al-Nasser, who finished third in the Saudi League this season, was not qualified for the club’s World Cup-where Lionel Messi will play Ronaldo’s great competitor with Miami’s residents.
Ronaldo did not interact on Saturday with Infantino speculation on social media channels.
