Police said that a driver hit the pedestrians in Liverpool on Monday, with hundreds of thousands gathered in an offer celebrating the Liverpool Football Club title for the Premier League football.
Mercyside police said that the car collided with “a number of pedestrians on water street” immediately after 6 pm local time.

The authorities said that the emergency personnel are at the scene. The police had no details of any collision injuries.

UK Prime Minister Kiir Starmer described the incident as “shocking.”
“The scenes in Liverpool are horrific – my thoughts with all the injured or the injured,” Starmer said in a statement. “I keep up on developments and ask us to give the police the space they need to investigate.”
