Althaus, a professor of political science and communications at the University of Illinois Urbana Champin, became curious while searching for losses in World War II to work. His mother gave him the name of her cousin, Thomas Kelly, who was 21 years old when he was reported to be lost at work.

Althaus recalled that, as a boy, he visited Stone Kelly’s Memorial Stone, who has a striker. Reading began on the lost plane.

“It was a mystery that I truly discovered for my extended family,” he said.

With the help of other relatives, he analyzed historical documents and pictures and remembered eyewitnesses. They sometimes weighing conflicting accounts of the place where the plane fell. After a four -year achievement, Althaus wrote a report that concluded that the bomber had been likely to start from Awar Point in what is now known as Papua New Guinea.

The report has been shared with Project Recovery, a non -profit organization committed to finding and returning the missing American service members and partner of the Pow/MIA, or DPAA. Located in Ocean Science, a team of Project Recovery, led by researchers from the SCRIPPS Institute in Ocean Science, is located in the Hadam field in 2017 after searching for about 10 square miles from the sea floor.

DPAA launched the deepest underwater recovery task in 2023.

More than 200 people honored Darrigan on Saturday at Wapppsers Falls, some flags waving the sidewalk during the procession to the church, while others live in a cemetery under a cloudy sky.

A motorcycle of the motorcycle drivers will pass by motorcyclists in foreign wars by the home and the old secondary school of Kelly before interfering.

“I think it is very unlikely that the memory of Tom Kelly will fade soon,” said Althous, a volunteer with the project recovery project.

ShePPICK will be buried in the coming months near his parents in a cemetery in the coal center, Pennsylvania. His niece, Deborah Winland, said that she believes that her late father, her younger brother, would like it in this way. The son Spek has never met, died due to cancer while he was in high school.

Tenison will be buried on June 27 in Wichita, Kansas. He will be buried next to his wife, Jean, who died in 2017, just months before the Hadam website.
