The bodies of five skiers were found on a ice river over the Swiss resort Mountain Zermat on Saturday, after two skiers were informed of the abandoned skipper at the top of the Rimpfischhorn summit, a summit of 13,000 feet.
Rimpfischhorn climbed a warning of rescuers after finding signers, but they did not face any owners on their way.
The authorities said that a flight plane with an emergency doctor, a paramedic and two rescue specialists in Valay, fled immediately. Then the bodies were rapidly present on the iceberg after air and land searches.
“The official identity of the victims is still ongoing,” Valis officials said. “The Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation to determine the exact conditions of this incident.”
Three bodies were found about 1,600 feet under skis, and the other two were in a small snow -covered area about 600 feet, a Swiss broadcaster Swiss Radio TV reported.
The collapse and weather conditions are examined as part of the investigation.
