The Ministry of Justice has opened an investigation into the former New York Governor Andrew Como regarding his testimony to Congress during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The investigation comes months after the overthrow of the Ministry of Justice is charged against the current mayor of New York City, Eric Adams. Both Adams and Komo are joining the mayor in the upcoming elections.
The news was first reported by the New York Times.
The Ministry of Justice had no comment upon access to CBS News.
In a statement, Rich Azobardi, a Como spokesman, said that the former ruler had no contact from law enforcement on the case or received any call notes.
“We were not informed of any such issue, so why is someone leaking now?” Azobardi said. “The answer is clear: This is the overlapping of chores and simple elections – something that President Trump and the chief official of the Ministry of Justice says they are against.”
He added: “The ruler Komo honestly witnessed his best memories of the four-year events, and offered to address any follow-up questions from the sub-committee-but from the beginning all of this was political transparently.”
