On Monday, the New Jersey Lamonica McGever’s deputy was charged for assaulting law enforcement officers outside the ICE detention facility earlier this month.

Senior Democrats in the House of Representatives also issued a joint statement defending Molkfer on Monday, pledging “strongly” to respond to what they say is an illegal use of power.
“The attack on one of us is an attack on the American people,” he said.
In addition, the party leaders noted that McIVER toured the facility after the alleged quarrel. “There is no reliable evidence that MP McVer participates in any criminal activity, and it was not possible to be allowed to roam in the facility if she committed any mistake,” as the lawmakers claimed.
