One person died and many others were wounded after the fire broke out inside the Las Vegas Sports Club on Friday afternoon, according to the police.
The suspect entered the gym with a gun, looking for the victim. When the victim was found, the suspect shot and killed him.
Investigators review security footage and believe that they have most of the video accident.
The attack was not random and the police did not believe that the attacker intended to commit a mass attack, according to the official.
Andrew Walsh said during a press conference: “This afternoon, officers from the Capital Police Department in Las Vegas were sent to an invitation to serve,” Andrew Walsh said during a press conference. “The details of that call indicated that there is an armed person with a weapon and fire inside the Las Vegas Sports Club.”
The officers arrived at the scene of the accident and were involved with the suspect, which led to the shooting of an officer, where the suspect was shot and announced his death at the scene, according to the police.
The authorities say that there is no longer a threat to the public.
“There were additional victims treated because of the injuries they received, and we believe, at this time, at the hands of the suspect.” “We have one person who died inside the gym.”
The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
“I ask you all to make sure that you are going out that we no longer have a threat to the public,” he said. “The situation is stable and now the investigation process will continue.”
